2014 College Football Heisman Trophy Canidates

Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, and Braxton Miller all look to showcase their talents in the 2014 season and be the front-runner for College Footballs most prestigious award; the Heisman Trophy. All three players have intangibles that separate themselves from other athletes in the world. With the countdown to College Football in less than 90 days, the Heisman campaigns for these athletes have begun.

1) Jameis Winston:The previous Heisman Trophy winner, Jameis Winston is just getting better, and nothing is going to stop him. Other then the off the field drama, Jameis is not even at the peak of his college football career, yet. Performing at such a high level as a redshirt-freshman, Jameis is only going to get better, with an outstanding running game, and a great set of incoming wide receivers, Jameis is the favorite to repeat as the Heisman Trophy winner.

2) Marcus Mariota: Marcus Mariota, who had an outstanding season last year, looks to top it with a better one this season. Mariota was the favorite until getting injured, but playing through an injury and not being 100% for a few games, gave Winston the nod back on top of the Heisman Battle. Mariota is very tough to stop, getting it done on the ground and the air. Being a dual-threat quarterback, and still passing the “rock” as accurate as any player in College Football and being able to take off like his former running back De’Anthony Thomas, is a vital key in succeeding in College Football. Mariota has that “it factor.”

3) Braxton Miller: One of the fastest players in the nation, but still a great passing quarterback? Meet Braxton Miller. Miller looks to break many records in his senior season at Ohio State, and lead the Buckeyes to a National Championship. With Hyde going to the NFL, Miller will have to step up, and their is no question he will. Miller has always been one of the most electric, fascinating athletes in the game, and he is humble, also. With only losing two-games in the past two-seasons, Miller knows how to win, and in the 2014 season, he will prove it. Want a star? Watch out for Ohio State quarterback, Braxton Miller.
